Dil Bechara Pyaar Ka Maara
"Dil Bechara Pyaar Ka Maara", a romantic comedy, has first-time producer M.C. Pandey trying his luck in Bollywood.
Pandey was not keen to have a big star cast for his film, and says he wanted to experiment with new stars. The film has three new faces - Aman Sondhi, Mallika Kapur and Jonita Dodo along with Rajpal Yadav, Vikas Kalantri, Divya Palat and Aslam Khan.
Writer-director Onkarnath Mishra said he found it a "remarkable experience" working with the stars. "I never faced any difficulties while shooting, thanks to Pandey who came across as the most uncomplaining producer."
In "Dil Bechara Pyaar Ka Maara", Aslam Khan plays the role of a businessman - Sanjay - while Aman Sondhi plays the role of a cricketer - Vinod.
Vikas Kalantri plays a singer by the name of Deepak and Rajpal Yadav plays an underworld don, Tundabhai.
While Sanjay, Vinod and Deepak love their girlfriends, Tundabhai plays spoilsport having his eye on all the three girls.
Of the girls, Neela (Mallika Kapur) is crazy about cricket, Shree (Jonita Doda) loves singing and Sherry (Divya Palat) dreams of marrying a businessman.
Problems arise, however, when Sherry falls in love with Deepak mistaking him to be a businessman, Neela falls for Sanjay thinking he is a cricketer and Shree falls for Vinod mistaking him to be a singer.
What follows is a hilarious comedy of situations with the boys trying to act as what they are not, and Tundabhai doing his bit to wow the girls. The don used to love the girls since the time they were in class one and he was in class 11.
In the end, Tundabhai lands in jail trying to woo the girls in his "gangster style."
