Actor Daniel Balaji who had started his acting career with the hit television serial Chithi, later went on to act in films and has been known for his interesting villain roles in movies like Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyadu, Pollathavan, and has also played supporting roles in Kaakha Kaakha, Mayavan etc.

Having acted with Vijay in Bairava, and now acting in his upcoming movie Bigil, Daniel Balaji was last seen in gangster movies Vada Chennai and Gangs of Madras. Now it has been revealed that the actor is all set to make his entry into digital streaming platforms.

Daniel Balaji will be seen in the lead role in an upcoming web series which has been titled as Godman. This series will have Daniel Balaji playing a spiritual guru and will have grey shades. Directed by Babu Yogeswaran who had directed Jayam Ravi's Daas and is making Vijay Antony's Thamizharasan, this series will premiere on Zee 5.
