In "Kisna", Digital Intermediate technology was used to great advantage by cinematographer Ashok Mehta and Ken Metzker, colourist at Prasad EFX.

Digital Intermediate is a stage in the filmmaking process where all shot material is digitised for post-production.

The Digital Intermediate process is fast becoming the ideal route for feature films with major groundbreaking projects like "Khakee" and "Lakshaya" opting for it.

Says Mehta, "I was immensely thrilled at the possibilities of the Digital Intermediate process. I got the exact feel I had in mind through the excellent color grading blue look, sepia look, everything. Ken went out of the way to do many small but important aspects which heightened the final look."
