Digital streaming platforms are on the rise, with original content being made and audience giving their support, and in recent times, popular stars from Kollywood have made their entry to web series, like Prasanna,Akshara Haasan, Sunainaa, Ashwin Kakumanu, Gayathrie and many others.

The next to enter the digital platform is actress Sonia Agarwal, who had last played a cameo in Vishal starrer Ayogya. It has been revealed that Sonia Agarwal will play an important role in the upcoming Zee5 web series Godman, which is directed by Babu Yogeswaran.

Godman will deal with religion and politics, and will have actor Daniel Balaji in the lead role, and earlier, Daniel Balaji and Sonia Agarwal have acted together in Sonia's Tamil debut Kadhal Konden directed by Selvaraghavan. Godman also stars Jayaprakash and is shot in Munnar, Himalayas and Tenkasi.
