She has played a bold, confident young woman film after film ever since she was seen first in 'Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi'.

However when it came to playing a victim of sexual harassment in 'Inkaar', she found herself trapped in a different zone altogether.

Reason being that there was a huge deal of sensitivity attached to the subject and she knew that margin of error was quite low, both for her as an actor as well as the character that she was playing on screen.

"I mean look at it this way. It is easier to prove rape but how do you tell the world that someone took an unfair advantage and harassed you sexually, both physically as well as verbally", questions Chitrangda, "There are no tell-tale signs after all!"

"Also, you can't truly explain that how that person looked at you or shook hands at a particular instance. It is something that only you know", she adds, "It is so difficult to prove that you have been sexually harassed."
