A differently-abled young man, Pranav, had gone to meet Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the Thiruvananthapuram secretariat this morning to donate generously to the Chief Minister's Grievance Redressal & Distress Relief Fund, and pictures of their meeting have been going viral on social media.
After receiving the relief fund, which was reportedly set up to support post-flood rehabilitation and rebuilding in Kerala, Pranav clicked pictures with the CM, including one that involved a selfie, where Pranav captured the picture using his leg. CM Pinarayi Vijayan, who was moved by the gesture of the young man, took to Twitter to post his experience. "Had a very touching experience this morning. Pranav, a painter from Alathur, visited me in the Legislative office to hand over his contributions to the CMDRF. Pranav expressed happiness over the support given by the Government for differently-abled persons," his post read.
After completing his B.Com course from a Government College in Chittur, Palakkad, Pranav has been attending PSC coaching classes. The kid, who was born without arms, donated the entire amount he won from a reality show to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.
