On January 1, legendary former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar plugged a video clip in which a differently-abled teen boy was seen playing cricket with his friends. It was such an inspiring one. "Start your 2020 with the inspirational video of this kid Madda Ram playing cricket with his friends. It warmed my heart and I am sure it will warm yours too," Sachin said.

The boy, Madda Ram Kawasi, hails from Chhattisgarh. "This differently-abled Class VII student is from Dantewada district. He has been playing cricket for 2 years," an agency report says.

Speaking to a news agency, the boy says, "My father is a farmer. I have been playing cricket for two years. I take runs by crawling. I want to thank Sachin Tendulkar sir for sharing my video."
