Didn’t watch that movie: Keeravani on ‘Baahubali’ theme music row

The theme music of 'Baahubali-The Beginning' has been compared with that of 'Keelu Gurram' from the beginning.  The 1949 movie, starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, had music by Ghantasala himself.  Those with a knowledge of old Telugu movies were quick to spot the fact that the 'Baahubali' theme music sounds very much like Keelu Gurram's.

MM Keeravani categorically says in his latest interview that he is yet to watch the 1949 movie.  He also adds that he is very happy that the two tracks sound very much similar (by sheer coincidence).

Given the advancements in musical instruments and systems and Rajamouli's vision, Keeravani's work sounds far more majestic than the other one.
