Roger Bonds, Sean "Diddy" Combs' former chief of security, told Piers Morgan on Monday that he had seen the music mogul "get physical" with Cassie and Kim Porter, two of his ex-girlfriends. Working with Combs, Bonds said he witnessed these kinds of situations "four or five times."
Bonds blasted Diddy's most recent "apology" video, which the musician posted following the release of an unsettling 2016 video by CNN that appeared to show him abusing Cassie.
Combs said, in the Instagram video, "I was f-ked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom," he said, accepting full responsibility for his behavior and claiming to have looked for medical attention, treatment, and rehabilitation. "I had to humbly beg God for his grace. "I apologize so much," he said.
Bonds, though, was dubious. To me, he didn't humble himself enough because he never mentioned Cassie's name in that apology. "I believe he spoke what people wanted to hear, not what he felt," Bonds added. He went on to call Combs a "king manipulator" motivated by power and money and to say he suffers from "god syndrome."
2018 saw the death of model and actress Kim Porter, who was married to Diddy for three years. In 2007 the pair broke up. Bonds said Porter finally retaliated, realizing her own power. Bonds stated, "He was trying to hide this dark side of him."
Bonds also hinted at possible new accusations against Diddy. He said, "I feel like there's going to be other people come forward."
Diddy is now accused of rape and sex trafficking among other sexual assaults. The Los Angeles DA does not, however, plan to file charges for the 2016 assault on Cassie since the event occurred outside of the legal time frame for prosecution.
