Did Khushbu convert to different religion after marraige?

Khusbhu one of the lady superstars of the South during the eighties and nineties is currently a very active politician serving as a leader in the central ruling BJP party.  On the personal side she is happily married to top commercial director Sundar C and has two daughters Avantika and Anandita. 

Since Khushbu strongly supports Prime Minister Modi’s policies espcially those connected with religion she is constantly at loggerheads with the opposition party members on social media.

Its well known that Khushbu was born and raised as a Muslim and netizens questioned whether her affinity to Hinduism is because she converted after her marriage to Sundar.  The outspoken actress came up with a strong reply on Twitter “Those who question my marriage, or say I have converted to marry my husband, I say get some sense n education pls. Sad, they have never heard of ‘special marriage act’ which exists in our country. I have neither converted nor have been asked to do so.”

Khusbhu added “My marriage of 23 yrs is rock solid, based on trust, respect, equality and love. So those who have doubts, pls go for a hike. You need it”.  The 52 year old is currently balancing her film acting and producing career along with her demanding political schedules.
