Fans woke up to a shocking incident involving Starlet Raveena Tandon with a mob in Mumbai. The incident happened when Raveena's driver was reversing the car and the mob accusing him of hitting a person's father. When Raveena got down and asked the mob not to hit her driver, they accused her of being in inebriated state.
The Mumbai Police according to sources has found no evidence to support the claim that actress Raveena Tandon's car was involved in a road rage incident, which went viral on social media. According to a Khar police official, CCTV footage from the vicinity of the Khar-based building where the incident occurred shows that women were in close proximity to the actor's car but were not struck by it.
The incident, which took place on Carter Road in Bandra on Saturday night, was captured in a viral video that showed a group of locals accusing Raveena and her driver of assaulting three women. However, the police investigation has revealed that the allegations are false.
In the viral video, a man claims that Raveena's driver hit his mother, and when questioned, started assaulting her. He also alleged that the actress was inebriated and assaulted the woman when she stepped out of the vehicle . However, the police have found no evidence to support these claims.
According to the police, the incident began when Raveena's driver reversed his car, and a mob confronted them inside the premises of a building on Carter Road. The viral video shows a woman complaining that Raveena and her driver assaulted her and caused bleeding in her nose.
However, DCP Rajtilak Roshan, Zone 9, has stated that the car didn't hit anybody. "The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress' driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if people are behind the car before reversing. This argument started between them," said Roshan.
The argument escalated into abusive language, and Raveena arrived at the spot to check what had happened with her driver. She tried to protect the driver from the mob, but they started abusing her. Both Raveena and the family went to the Khar police station and gave written complaints, but later submitted letters stating they did not want to register any complaints.
No FIR has been registered, and a station diary entry has been made at the Khar police station. The police investigation has concluded that the allegations against Raveena and her driver are baseless.
