Several media reports have said in the past 24 hours that a person seen being assaulted by an individual outside a Delhi pub in a viral video is purportedly Ajay Devgn. Obviously, when a celeb is the victim of an assault incident, public attention is high.

With the reports suggesting that the 'RRR' actor was beaten up, his spokesperson on Monday issued a clarification. The statement reveals that the person in the video is not Ajay Devgn.

The statement adds, "The superstar hasn't been to Delhi in 14 months. After visiting the capital city for 'Tanhaji', he hasn't visited it again. The news reports are baseless and untrue."

Ajay Devgn has been shooting for 'Maidaan', 'MayDay' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' in cities such as Mumbai and Hyderabad.
