Saying that the success of Dictator has even more increased his determination and enthusiasm, Balakrishna credited the response to the entire unit. Speaking on the occasion of the 20th Vardhanthi of NT Rama Rao (on Jan 18), he said, "In my view, NTR was the really legend. It is he who gave me the inspiration to do distinctive roles. I was not very tensed when this title was selected, but I told Sriwass that he should take care to bring out a good product."

The entire team worked day in and day out to make Dictator what it is, he said. "Shyam K Naidu has shown every shot so well. Gautham Raju who has edited for hundreds of films has done a great job, so also Thaman. I will entertain the audience till the end," Balakrishna said.

Director Sriwass said that he consciously made an attempt at showing Balakrishna in a new way because it was his 99th film and he had to be shown in a way he was not in the previous 98 films.
