Bollywood actress Dia Mirza, who is famous for her roles in Dus and Lage Raho Munnabhai, has announced separation from her husband Sahil Sangha after 11 years of being together, in an Instagram post she shared this morning.

The actress and her husband posted the same message, announcing mutual separation, stating that they would continue to maintain a cordial relationship post the separation. "After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other," their posts read.

Requesting privacy in the matter and adding that they won't be elaborating further on it, their statement read, "We thank our family and friends for all their support and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time. We will not be commenting any further on this matter."

Dia and her longtime business partner Sahil tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony at a farmhouse in Ghitorni in November 2014. They had dated for years prior to the wedding.
