The formal audio release of Dhuniya 2` by Samy Associates was held at Green House restaurant on last Friday night. The evening happened to flash book mood for most of the persons who are on the dais.

It was in 2007 February Dhuniya` was released and it was a super hit in the Samy Associates. After that they made six films but most of them crashed in the box office. TP Siddaraju had invited all the connected persons of Dhuniya` to the Dhuniya 2 audio release except Dhuniya Vijay hero of that film. He recalled that Vijay father Rudrappa has given Rs.16 lakhs as investment for the film. For a few not turning up to rake up memory and spend good time, Siddaraju did not worry about it.

Dhuniya cameraman Sathya Hegde, music director V Manohar, producer wife Smt Ambujakshi, Mahesh production executive then were present at the Dhuniya 2` audio release event.

TP Siddaraju and Lokesh have two more additions in the producers list – Venkatesh and Chandrasekhar Patil. Soori directed Dhuniya then and today Dhuniya 2` is directed by Harish. BJ Bharath was key board player of all songs in V Manohar music, today he is independent music director of this film Dhuniya 2. Sathya Hegde was cameraman, it is Manjunath Nayak today. Yogish was Loose Madha from that film in a short role, today he is hero of 25 films and lead actor of Dhuniya 2`. Dhuniya starred Rashmi as heroine, today for second part Hita Chandrasekhar is female lead.

Dhuniya 2` is a film on night life in Majestic area in Bengaluru says debutant director Hari. In the 47 days only four days in day light shoot was held and rest of the shoot in night he said. It is what he had seen in night life is the content of the film. Hari is also inspired from Dhuniya made ten years ago. Hita Chandrasekhar is paired with Yogish in this film. She plays a serious role working in garment factory.

Yogish in his address mentioned that he stopped accepting films for two years. At this time he got knowledge improved. From this film I learnt waking up in the night time. I should thank the people of Dhuniya` and this Dhuniya 2` team said Yogish.

BJ Bharat music composer of this film was also in a flashback mood. He thanked for the opportunity and hope the good response comes for this film. The night life of boozing, dejection etc is part of his character. He lauded the acting capacity of Hita Chandrasekhar.

Playback singers Aishwarya Rangarajan, Inchara Rao, director and lyricist Simple Suni, Madhugiri Prakash and others were present at the audio release meet. The audio of Dhuniya 2 was first released at famous Marikamba Fare in Sagar.
