Director Mohan Raja's master piece 'Thani Oruvan' released on August 28 2015 and turned out to be a unanimously acclaimed blockbuster. Now the Telugu remake of the film is ready and the official release date has been announced as December 9,2016.

Ram Charan Teja and Rakul Preet Singh will be fitting in to the shoes of Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara from original. The Telugu version titled as 'Dhruva' has been directed by Surender Reddy

Aravind Swamy who played Siddharth Abhimanyu, the powerful and smart antagonist character in the original has been retiained. Hiphop Tamizha who gave super hit tunes and brilliant re-recording for 'Thani Oruvan' is entering Tollywood with its remake.

'Dhruva' has been produced by Allu Aravind and there is a tremendous pre-release buzz for the film.
