Versatile actor Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv was all set to be launched as a hero with Varmaa, the Tamil version of the 2017 Tollywood blockbuster Arjun Reddy, directed by acclaimed maker Bala, and produced by E4 entertainment. While the movie was initially announced to be released on valentines day, here comes a shocking update on the movie.

A press release from E4 entertainment states that the movie will be shot again completely, and here are the details. E4 entertainments had engaged Bala's B Studios to recreate the tamil version of Arjun Reddy on first copy basis, and now E4 entertainment is not happy with the final version handed over by the maker, and due to creative differences, this version will not be released.

E4 Entertainment has announced that they will start afresh and shoot a new version of Arjun Reddy, with Dhruv as the lead, and the updates on the cast and crew including the director will be announced soon. The press note also mentions that they will work tirelessly on bringing the cult movie to Tamil with a new team targeting a June 2019 release.
