Dhruv Vikram the son of Chiyaan Vikram started his career under Bala's direction in the remake of the Telugu blockbuster hit 'Arjun Reddy' but unfortunately, the film was shelved after completion as producers E4 Entertainment cited displeasure with it.  The production house, however, restarted the film with the title 'Aditya Varmaa' and the project is in post-production currently.

A rumour started doing the rounds in Kollywood circles that Dhruv Vikram has signed his second film to be directed by Vijay who has made two films 'Deiva Thirumagal'and 'Thaandavam' with his dad Vikram.  The Vikram camp has clarified that its only a rumour and the second film of Dhruv will be officially announced soon.
