The audio release of Prakash Raj-Akash starrer Dhoni will be released on the 30th of this month. (The producer is planning to release the Tamil version audio on the 25th). Saying that Illayaraja’s music will entertain all music lovers besides the aficionados of sahitya, Prakash Raj has said that the release function will feature a live orchestra by the Maestro and his team.

It is known that the film is a critique of the education system. Starring himself in the role of a middle-class man who wants to make his son an MBA professional and Master Akash (Puri Jagannadh's son) as a child with a knack for cricketing, the film is scheduled to release in February.

The lyrics are by Sirivennela Seetharama Shastry. We are ensured of a treat in the form of thought-provoking lyrics and amusing music. What's more, Dhoni has much in store on the technical front too. Its cinematography is by KV Guhan.

Produced by Prakash Raj himself on Duet Movies, the film is touted to be a cocktail of emotions.

While Dhoni presents an opportunity for Raj to strike gold with his very first production, it gives a wide platform (in two languages) for the passionate actor in Akash.
