Mahesh Babu awaits the release of 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' on January 11 (tomorrow).  All of a sudden on Friday, some members of an outfit named Jai Andhra Pradesh Vidyarthi Yuva Jana Porata Samithi have staged a dharna in front of Mahesh Babu's residence in Hyderabad.

Their demand is that Mahesh, who hails from Andhra, has to speak out against the proposed move to shift the capital of the State.  No clash or tension has been reported. The situation is stable.

Mahesh has always refrained from making comments on controversial issues.  He stays away from politics as a matter of principle.  Given this, what has prompted the outfit to try to drag him into the burning issue?  Why is it that they have landed at Mahesh's residence only a day ahead of the release of 'SNE'? On the face of it, it looks like a publicity stunt.
