Every time director Vetrimaran and actor Dhanush joined hands, they have ensured healthy entertainment and an array of awards. While their first project 'Polladhavan' bagged four Vijay Awards, their second, 'Aadukalam' took credit for six National Awards that year; it is worth mentioning that both the fleet of awards included one for the Best Actor. Now, the success partnership is ready to take one more round in Kollywood, with Dhanush joining hands with Vetrimaran for his next project, 'Vengaisamy'.

The project is expected to go on the floors by the end of this year. Manisha Yadav of 'Vazhakku Enn 18/9' fame will be playing Dhanush's heroine in the film. Velraj has been singed in for the cinematography and Kishore for editing, while GV Prakash will be composing the tunes for 'Vengaisamy', which is to be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Meeka Productions.
