Actor Dhanush has joined hands with director Vetrimaran for the fourth time after their successful movies Pollathavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai, with Asuran. The movie's trailer which was released yesterday has received overwhelming positive response with its raw visuals and dialogues.

While it was evident that Dhanush plays a single role which ages as the screenplay progresses, as opposed to the initial news that Dhanush will be playing father and son in the movie, Ken Karunas plays the younger version of Dhanush's son, and the elder version of Dhanush's son is played by Teejay.

Teejay is a London based singer who has been known for his Muttu Muttu independent track which was a hit on social media. It has been said that his role will be crucial in Asuran, which also stars Manju Warrier, Pasupathy, Balaji Sakthivel, Ammu Abhirami, Prakashraj, Pavan and Aadukalam Naren. Asuran releases on October 4.
