National award winning actor Dhanush, was last seen scoring a commercial success with Maari 2, the sequel to his 2015 hit directed by Balaji Mohan and costarring Sai Pallavi and Tovino Thomas. With the movie still making noise thanks to its charbuster Rowdy Baby number, the actor has swiftly moved to his next.

Dhanush's next is going to be Asuran, his fourth collaboration with national award winning maker Vetrimaran, with whom he had last delivered the raw gangster flick Vada Chennai last year, besides also collaborating in Pollathavan and Aadukalam. Now, the latest update is out on Asuran.

Dhanush has took it to Twitter to announce that the first look of Asuran will be revealed today at 6 pm and the shooting begins tomorrow. Asuran will mark the Tamil debut of popular Malayalam actress Manju Warrier and will be based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani. The movie is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations.
