Yesterday, Superstar Rajnikanth's younger daughter Soundarya and Vishagan Vanangamudi's pre wedding reception was held at Raghavendra Mandapam Chennai, and their wedding is scheduled to be held tomorrow. The reception was graced by the presence of special invitees and close relatives of Superstar Rajnikanth.

Those who had attended the reception were given a neem seed ball as return gift. After many photos from the event went viral, there was one question that was common among people - Why was Dhanush not present in the reception?None of the photographs including the family selfie had Dhanush in it, leading to doubts that Dhanush was absent.

However, it has been revealed that Dhanush had been busy shooting for his next movie, the Vetrimaran directed Asuran, and he had arrived later and was also seen in several photographs, in simple costumes as opposed to the rich attire worn by the rest. Reportedly the actor had arrived to the event in his same look maintained for the shoot, and probably that was the reason Dhanush wasn't seen in any photographs.
