The most eagerly awaited political action thriller of Suriya, Kaappaan, directed by K.V. Anand, hit the screens across the world today and has been receiving positive reviews.

Dhaunsh, who is awaiting the release of Asuran on October 4, took to Twitter to send out good luck to Suriya and team for Kaappaan. "Wishing beloved @Suriya_offl sir, most respected @Mohanlal sir, @arya_offl brother, @LycaProductions and my fav @anavenkat sir for a great success on the release of kaappaan today. Pls watch it in theatres. Say no to piracy," his message read.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Kaappaan also stars Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Boman Irani, and Samuthirakani, among others. The music is composed by Harris Jayaraj.
