As we all know director Vetrimaran after the critically acclaimed 'Visaranai' will begin his ambitious project 'Vada Chennai' which will deal with the underworld history of North Chennai. Dhanush, Samantha and Andrea Jeremiah will be playing the lead characters in the film.

As Dhanush kept signingup for new films with director Gautham Menon and Karthik Subbaraj and he also has a Hollywood film in the pipeline, it was earlier reported that the commencement of the film will be postponed to 2017. But now a good news awaits the fans of Vetrimaran and Dhanush.

The latest information coming from reliable sources reveal that the shooting of 'Vada Chennai' is all set to commence on June 15, 2016. The film will be produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner.

We will have to wait for somemore time to know the other cast and crew members of the film while Vetrimaran has confirmed that Santhosh Narayanan will be doing the musical score for the film.

Dhanush is presently busy shooting for 'Yenai Nokki Paayum Thotta' directed by Gautham Menon. He has also completed shooting for director Prabhu Solomon's 'Thodari' and director Durai Senthilkumar's 'Kodi'. Both the films are expected to hit the screens within July this year.
