Dhanush has effected some drastic changes in the functioning of his fan clubs and has made an announcement that director Subramaniam Siva of 'Thiruda Thirudi' fame would henceforth serve as the all India president of the Dhanush Fan Clubs. B.Raja has been appointed as the secretary and Dhanush has personally requested all his fans to co-operate with the new team in strengthening the clubs.

Dhanush's next release in Tamil is 'Vada Chennai' directed by Vettrimaaran and would follow that up with the Hollywood film 'Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir and 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta' directed by Gautham Menon. He is also gearing up to start his directorial venture which is touted to be a fantasy historical on the lines of 'Baahubali' costarring Nagarjuna.
