Dhanush starrer ‘Vaathi’ songs to be launched with a grand event on this date?

Dhanush delivered back-to-back profitable films – Thiruchitrambalam and Naane Varuvean in 2022. Now, the actor’s first Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, ‘Vaathi’, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release. The team announced that the period action drama will hit the screens on February 17.

Meanwhile, there have been several reports stating that the makers are planning to postpone the release date to Summer 2023 but there is no official clarification in this regard. According to sources, the crew has planned a grand audio launch function for Vaathi in Chennai next week and the February release plans are still on.

Reportedly, the ceremony will be held at the auditorium in Sai Ram college on February 4 (Saturday). Also, it is said that the production house will proceed with its plans for February 17 release. Samyuktha Menon and Samuthirakani are acting in important roles in Vaathi which has music by GV Prakash.

It is worth mentioning that Dhanush is currently shooting for ‘Captain Miller’, directed by Arun Matheshwaran, which is also announced to be a Summer 2023 release. On the film front, Dhanush also has films with directors Sekhar Kammula, H Vinoth and Ramkumar apart from his 50th movie, ‘D50’ aka ‘Raayan’, which is expected to be directed by himself.
