Dhanush fans started missing watching their favourite on the big screens as the acclaimed actor's last three films, Jagame Thandhiram, Atrangi Re and Maaran, were released on leading streaming platforms directly. Now, we have got happy news for Dhanush fans as his upcoming film 'Thiruchitrambalam' is gearing up for theatrical release.

According to the latest reports, the makers are planning to release the rom-com entertainer film in cinema halls in July 2022. Dhanush will be romancing three heroines; Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Nithya Menon in 'Thiruchitrambalam'. The story is set in two time periods - the protagonist’s college days and his adulthood. The lead character will have multiple love interests in the college portion and latter portions.

Veteran director Bharathiraja and ace actor Prakash Raj have played important roles in 'Thiruchitrambalam'. Produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures, this is the fourth time Dhanush is teaming up with Mithran Jawahar. The duo has already worked in films like 'Kutty', 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' and 'Uthamaputhiran'. Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the film. The DnA duo has reunited after 5 years.
