We already updated you that the Dhanush starrer 'Thiruchitrambalam' is all set to be released on August 18. Meanwhile, the powerhouse actor has also completed his works in Selvaraghavan's 'Naane Varuven'. Now, the latest is that Naane Varuven is likely to clash with 'Ponniyin Selvan' at the box office.

It is common knowledge that Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan part 1' is scheduled to hit the screens on September 30. Sources say that the movie team of 'Naane Varuven' is also aiming for a theatrical release on the same day opposite 'PS1'. However, there is no official information in this regard yet.

On the other hand, reports suggest that the makers are planning to launch the 'Naane Varuven' trailer on July 28, Dhanush's birthday. It is worth mentioning that there are reports that the 'Thiruchitrambalam' audio launch is expected to happen on July 28 as well. If the trailer of 'Naane Varuven' arrives on the same day, it will be a double treat for the fans on their idol's birthday.

On the work front, Dhanush's Hollywood debut film 'The Gray Man' is releasing directly on Netflix on July 22. Directed by 'Avengers' fame Russo Brothers, Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling and Ana De Armas have played main roles in the movie. Russo Bros will be visiting Dhanush in India for the promotions of the film which is also releasing in Indian languages.
