Dhanush, whose career is now very quiet, is keenly awaiting the release of Pudhupettai, which he hopes would set his sagging career on a right path.

The buzz is that Dhanush, who sang a song (Nattusarakku in Pudhukottailirundhu Saravanan) before has penned the lyrics for a song now.
The song written by Dhanush would be set to tunes by D Imman.
Shreya, who is acting as Rajinikanth's ladylove, is playing Dhanush's heroine in the movie.
The shooting for the movie is on at a rapid pace.
Boopathy Pandian says, 'I am confident that Thiruvilayadal would be an entertaining movie which would certainly make it big at the box office.'
