As we all know Dhanush has acted in dual roles for the first time in 'Kodi' directed by Durai Senthilkumar. This film is touted to be a political thriller. Dhanush and one of the female leads Trisha act as politicians in this film.

Now a latest information that has been revealed by a source is that the film's story revolves around a nuclear power plant that is being set up near a village and the protests against it. The climax is whether the plant is finally built or not.

Two nuclear power plants have been constructed in Kudankulam a small town in Tirunelveli district amid continuous protest from anti-nuke activists with the support of people living in that locality.

Will 'Kodi' have any resemblance or reference to the struggle against Kudankulam nuclear power plant? We will have to wait till the release of the film to know this. .

'Kodi' stars S.A.Chandrasekar, Kaali Venkat, Sathish and a few other prominent actors in supporting roles. Santhosh Narayanan has rendered the musical score for this film produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner.
