Dhanush's 'Thodari' has finally released last week and now the promotions for his next film 'Kodi' is all set to begin.

The talented actor-produced has announced that the motion poster of 'Kodi' will be released at 7 PM on Wednesday (September 28).

The film directed by Durai Senthilkumar of 'Ethirneechal' and 'Kaaki Sattai' fame has been scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali 2016. Trade sources reveal that the rights to distribute the film in theaters across Tamil Nadu have been already sold on MG basis.

Santhosh Narayanan has rendered the musical score and we can expect the announcement on audio release date very soon as Dhanush has last week updated that the master copy of the film's music album is ready.

'Kodi' is a political thriller which stars Dhanush in dual roles. Trisha and Anupama Parameshwaran have played the female lead roles. S.A.Chandrasekar, Sathish, Kaali Venkat and others have acted in supporting characters. The film has been produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner.
