Actor Dhanush has climbed to dizzying heights in Indian cinema and already had offers from Spanish and English directors a couple of years back which he rejected. But it looks like the National Award winning, multi talented entertainer is on the verge of giving his nod for a prestigious international project.

Dhanush has been approached by director Marjane Satrapi to play the lead role in her film adaptation of the French novel "The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Wardrobe". Satrapi is an acclaimed French director of Persian origin who made The Voices` a well received offbeat film starring Ryan Reynolds last year.

If things work out Dhanush would be playing the role of a a con man from New Delhi who travels to France and falls in love with a gorgeous Parisian girl. But at the moment his love becomes a success he`s accidentally deported with a group of African refugees to a far corner of Europe. Seems like a tailor made role for Dhanush to Rock Worldl Cinema.
