Actor Dhanush who has completed two decades in the film industry is gearing up for the release of his next film 'Thiruchitrambalam' directed by Mithran Jawahar. Actor and producer Udhayanidhi has confirmed the same.

The film which has three heroines, namely, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Nithya Menen earlier reported that the film is expected to hit the screens in July, 2022, actor, producer and distributor Udhayanidhi Stalin has confirmed that the film will hit the screens on July 1, 2022.

In a recent interview about his upcoming film 'Nenjuku Needhi', Udhayanidhi spoke about the films his Red Giant Movies is releasing and revealed that Dhanush's 'Thiruchitrambalam', produced by Sun Pictures is set to hit the screens on July 1, 2022 and that the makers have asked him to block the date for the same with the theatres.

Thiruchitrambalam revolves around the story of a young man who falls in love twice in his life, in his college days and in adulthood. The film is produced by Sun Pictures, and Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the film. Veteran director Bhrathiraja and acclaimed actor Prakash Raj are also part of the cast.
