In 2023, Dhanush reunited with director Anand L Rai and legendary composer AR Rahman for a film titled "Tere Ishk Mein". This project marks their third collaboration following the successes of "Raanjhanaa" and "Atrangi Re". We previously reported that the film is set to go on floors in October or November 2024.

In a recent interview with a Hindi channel, director Anand L Rai shared some exciting updates about the movie. While there were rumours that the team was considering "Animal" actress Tripti Dimri for the female lead, Anand clarified that they are actually in discussions with Kriti Sanon for the leading lady role in "Tere Ishk Mein".

Anand L Rai also revealed, "Tere Ishk Mein is a romantic drama. The story will be rooted in the world of Raanjhanaa. The movie is set for a theatrical release in 2025." This news has been making waves on the internet. Reportedly, "Tere Ishk Mein" is expected to be shot over two months in Varanasi and other locations across Uttar Pradesh.
