Dhanush starrer 'Thiruchitrambalam' became a monstrous hit at the box office recently and the film is marching towards the prestigious 100 crore club. He has much-awaited films like Selvaraghavan's 'Naane Varuven' and Venky Atluri's 'Vaathi' on his release slate.

It is known that the star actor has merged forces with the critically acclaimed filmmaker Arun Matheshwaran for the upcoming project 'Captain Miller'. As per the latest reports, the film is most likely to start rolling on September first week and Dhanush will commence filming. Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the movie to be made on a grand scale.

'Captain Miller' is said to be a historical action-adventure flick set in the backdrop of the 1930s-40s. The film will be shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and have a Pan-Indian release. According to the internet buzz, Priyanka Arul Mohan or Krithi Shetty may be roped in as the leading lady. It is slated to hit the screens worldwide in the Summer of 2023.
