Actor Dhanush was last seen on screen in the Gautham Vasudev Menon's long delayed movie Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, and this year he had given a huge hit in the form of Vetrimaaran's Asuran. Next, the actor has Pattas ready to release and was announced as Pongal 2020 release.

Now the actor has completed shooting for his 40th movie, which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The team had finished a long London schedule last month and has now completed the Madurai schedule too, for which Dhanush was maintaining the handlebar moustache look.

As the movie has been completed, Dhanush tweeted "That’s a wrap for D40. One of the quickest films I have done. It was a pleasure to work with such a quirky , sensible and visionary film maker like @karthiksubbaraj this one is going to be special."
