Actor Dhanush has been represented in a highly unsavory manner in the \tweets and photos released by the Twitter account of singer and RJ Suchitra who claims that her account has been hacked.

Dhanush's family members are apparently devastated by this gross injustice meted out to the multi-talented actor but hey have decided to stand by his side.

The actor's sister Vimala Geetha. who is a doctor by profession has sent a press statement in which she says,

"Due to various problems in the last few months, everyone in our family are grief stricken. But we have never spoken about anything in public. Dhanush has reached the level what he is today after many sacrifices to make all of us live happily.

We hail from a very poor economic background and came up in life only through hard work. My brother Dhanush has faced many such allegations and achieved this position only after that.

It is sad to note someone releasing obscene photos to defame a celebrity and people seeing them and expressing their eagerness for more such photos. Whatever happens, all of us will face it together as one family.

With deep regrets, I am temporarily deactivating my Twitter and Facebook pages. Whoever does this, please stop it immediately. Live and let live.".
