These are the days when South Indian stars are venturing into other languages more to sing than to act. Only recently, Young Tiger NTR lent his voice to Puneeth Rajkumar for a song in Kannada. Earlier, the heroes of the Rajkumar family sang for heroes of other languages.

Latest, 'Kolaveri Di' sensation Dhanush has sung a song for a Mega hero. It's none other than Sai Dharam Tej who is the lucky one. The film is Tikka. This is how it happened. Music director SS Thaman requested the Kollywood star to sing for Teju's film. When he liked the concept, the star was on board. This was kept under the wraps until the recording was done, later which Teju expressed his thanks to Dhanush for lending his voice.

It has to be seen if the makers will release this song well in advance as part of the promos. Thaman, who is in full form with Sarrainodu, may well deliver a huge surprise once again.

The film will hit the screens on August 13. Also starring Larissa Bonesi and Mannara Chopra, the film is directed by Sunil Reddy. The audio will be released on July 30.
