It is officially announced that Dhanush and Selvaraghavan's 'Naane Varuvean' will have a grand theatrical release this month. However, the makers are yet to reveal a date officially. Meanwhile, the movie's advance bookings have already opened in the US and the release date is almost confirmed.

The reservations are open for 'Naane Varuvean' in the USA and the release date is September 29, as we reported earlier. The production house will confirm the date soon. Also, the film's runtime is reported to be 2 hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes). The CBFC has issued a UA certificate for 'Naane Varuvean'. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the musical score.

Touted to be a psycho-thriller, the story is about a deja vu effect between two lookalikes. Dhanush plays both hero and villain in 'Naane Varuvean' which has Indhuja and Elli AvrRam as heroines. Prabhu, Yogi Babu and Selvaraghavan have played the supporting roles. Dhanush scripted the story and screenplay for the movie.
