The fan favourite combo Dhanush, Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja are back with the psycho-thriller 'Naane Varuvean'. Kalaippuli S Thanu's production house V Creations already confirmed that the movie will release in September (this month).

Now, the makers took the internet by storm by announcing the specific and official release date. 'Naane Varuvean' will hit the screens worldwide on September 29, clashing at the box office with Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' which releases on September 30. Elli AvrRam and Indhuja play heroines in Dhanush's two roles in this movie.

Selvarghavan directed the film and acted in a key role with a story and screenplay by Dhanush himself. The story is about a deja vu effect between two lookalikes. 'Naane Varuvean' is certified UA by the censor board and has a runtime of 2 hrs and 15 mins. Om Prakash handles the camera and Bhuvan Srinivasan takes care of the editing.
