Director Sekhar Kammula and actor Dhanush have locked a project. They are going to collaborate on a pan-India outing, which will be made official by producers Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP on Friday.

Going into further details, the film will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. This will mark the Telugu-language debut of Dhanush, who is one of the most versatile male stars in the country.

Kammula, despite blockbusters such as 'Fidaa', has stayed away from star heroes for years. He wanted to do films like 'Godavari' with big names, but that never worked out. Given his rare, classy sensibilities, he refuses to pander to massy sensibilities. In Dhanush, the 'Happy Days' and 'Leader' maker has found a legitimate face to go national!

Dhanush's fans will be surprised about the big announcement, which is going to come at a time when Netflix will be streaming 'Jagame Thandhiram' to a keen audience. 'JT', directed by Karthik Subbaraj, will release on the OTT giant in 18 languages. Dhanush can't ask for a better occasion to be in the news for a pan-India project. 

For Kammula, this is the biggest project of his career. 'Love Story', starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, will hit the screens probably in August. The dance-based drama will test his calibre. Going by the buzz in the industry, the director has made a classy film that will become a super hit. With Dhanush, he will reach the next stage of his career.
