It`s a day of joyous celebrations and a proud moment for the Superstar Rajinikanth household. The announcement of the Superstar being selected for the Padma Bhushan award, the second highest Civilian honour of Indian Government and the news of his son-in-law Dhanush making his Hollwyood debut as an actor have come on the same day.

Here is what Dhanush had to say about getting the opportunity to star in the Hollywood film The Extraordinary Journey Of the Fakir Who Got Trapped In The Ikea Cupboard` :

" I am very excited by this opportunity to work in a full length Hollywood film. The director Marjane Satrapi felt I would be apt for this role and I feel there are many facets I can explore for this character. I thank my fans and media for constantly standing by me and pushing me to explore new endeavors and challenges all the time. "

Dhanush will play an Indian magician Aja, who is sent to Paris on a secret mission. Uma Thurman, Alexandra Daddario and Seema Biswas will be his co-stars in this film that is expected to go on floors in June 2016.
