After the critically acclaimed hit film 'Visaranai', director Vetrimaran's next will be 'Vada Chennai' with Dhansuh in the lead role. The film is expected to start soon after the release of 'Visaranai' but Dhanush has quite a few projects in hand to complete before taking up what can be termed Vetrimaran's dream project.

Dhanush has completed shooting for Prabhu Solomon directed flick and is presently busy shooting for 'Kodi'.. Dhanush has also committed himself to act in the film 'Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta' that will be directed by Gautham Menon. The multi-linguistic actor will also have to start acting in his debut Hollywood film with Uma Thurman by the month of June this year. This has lead to speculations that 'Vada Chennai' will be delayed again and it will start only by the end of the year.

However Vetrimaran has put a full stop to these speculations and has assured that 'Vada Chennai' will go on floors by the month of May. He has also confirmed that the preparations for the same have already begun.

'Vada Chennai' will have musical score by Santhosh Narayanan. Samantha will be playing the female lead in this flick which will also have Andrea in an important role.
