Dhanush drops the majestic first look of SJ Suryah’s character from ‘Raayan’!

We all know that Dhanush donned the director hat once again for his 50th film as an actor. ‘D50’, his second directorial, was officially titled ‘Raayan’. The actor unveiled the title with a stunning first-look poster a few days ago. Now, he has introduced the movie’s villain to us.

Dhanush took to social media and presented the riveting first look at SJ Suryah in Raayan. He is playing of the main antagonists in the film. In the monochrome poster, he was seated majestically on a chair with a tea glass in his hand. The backdrop shows a lot of containers hinting at a harbour-based gangster role for SJS in the movie.

Sharing the poster, Dhanush wrote, “Had great fun directing you @iam_SJSuryah sir” (sic). SJ Suryah replied to him, “Sirrrrrr it’s a bliss acting in Ur direction @dhanushkraja sirrrrrr thx for the opportunity and this tweet of Urs too &  friends, as I mentioned earlier RAAYAN is Raw & Rustic yet emotional in international standard summer treat thx a lot @sunpictures and team” (sic).

Raayan produced by Sun Pictures stars Dhanush, Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Sruyah, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, Nithya Menen, Anikha Surendran, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and others. The technical team comprises AR Rahman as the music composer, Om Prakash as the cinematographer and GK Prasanna as the editor.
