Earlier today, we updated you that Dhanush was spotted in public for the first time with his sons after separation at Ilayaraja's 'Rock with Raaja' concert. The charming actor was seen in a white shirt and dhoti. He also recited a classic song by Isai Gnani, which made the fans go crazy.

One of the highlights of the musical night was when Dhanush recreated Raja's chartbuster item song into a lullaby for his sons. A video of this incident is spreading like wildfire on the internet. In the video, Dhanush says to Ilayaraja, "This is an evergreen blockbuster song of yours, sir. Although I felt that we missed a haunting lullaby with the same tune. So, I wrote a lyric imagining Yatra, Linga and tried crooning it. I will sing the same tune as lullaby now" and renders a heart-warming lullaby.

The original song that Dhanush referred to was the timeless item song, 'Nila Adhu Vanathumele', from Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan's cult film 'Nayakan'. 'Nila Adhu Vanathumele' was written and sung by Ilayaraja back then. Now, Dhanush has recreated with his lines, "Kan moodidu poovizhi maane..." We can see that Yatra and Linga feel joyous as he recites the lullaby.

On the work front, Dhanush is currently working on Mithran Jawahar's 'Thiruchitrambalam', Venky Atluri's 'Vaathi' and Selvaraghavan's 'Naane Varuven'. He will be next seen in the Hollywood film 'The Gray Man', co-starring Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling and Ana De Armas.
