Dhanush has taken on the role of director for the second time with 'Raayan,' which also marks his 50th film as an actor. Produced by Sun Pictures, 'Raayan' is reported to be a revenge action drama. With the film set for a grand release on July 26th, the censor and runtime details surfaced on the internet today.
'Raayan' has successfully completed the censor process, receiving an 'A' certificate from the CBFC due to its intense and highly violent action scenes. This marks Dhanush's first A-certified film since 'Vada Chennai,' which remains his highest-grossing movie to date. Fans are eagerly expecting 'Raayan' to become a mega blockbuster just like 'Vada Chennai'.
The film has a runtime of 2 hours, 25 minutes, and 12 seconds (145 minutes and 12 seconds). According to the censor reports, the synopsis of 'Raayan' is, "A series of unfortunate events lead Raayan, a simpleton to be dragged into the dreaded world of crime and manipulation." The movie features music composed by Isai Puyal AR Rahman.
