Wonder what we are referring to in here? National Award winner Dhanush took time off his busy schedule to attend the 100-day celebration of Kannada film, 'Sanju Weds Geetha', that was held on Sunday at Bangalore.
Not just that, Dhanush also read out a speech in Kannada that he had carefully noted down with the help of a few and this won him much applause. Speaking on the occasion, Dhanush said, "I am here because of my friend who I trust and believe in. That is Ramya (Divya Spandana)". Dhanush also expressed that with the rise in television shows and pirated films, a movie running in the theatres for ten days is a big deal, and at such a time this movie has run for 100 days showing its strength.
'Sanju Weds Geetha' stars Srinagar Kitty and Divya Spandana in the lead roles and is an out-and-out romantic film embarking on true love. Dhanush had earlier shared screen space with Divya in 'Pollathavan'.
Dhanush was honored by Kannada century hero Shivarajakumar and Karnataka Home Minister Ashok in the presence of Divya, Srinagara Kitty and director Nagashekhar of 'Sanju Weds Geetha'.
