Actor Dhanush's brother and director Selvaraghavan made his acting debut through the film Saani Kaayidham. The film was released on Amazon Prime yesterday and is receiving positive reviews from fans.

Dhanush who has seen the film took to his Twitter to praise the director and the team. He wrote, "Congrats to saani kaayidham team on a brutal brilliantly made revenge drama. Good job @selvaraghavan @KeerthyOfficial and all the other actors too..I’m very proud of you @ArunMatheswaran You are a visionary (sic)."

Dhanush was last seen in director Karthick Naren's Maaran, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. The film received negative reviews from critics and audiences alike. The actor is awaiting the release of his upcoming films. Dhanush is all set to team up with director Arun Matheswaran soon. Back in December 2021, the actor took to social media to announce the same.

He wrote, "Yes. The speculations are true. I am that fortunate actor who bagged @ArunMatheswaran‘s next directorial. More details soon. Om Namashivaaya (sic)." Arun Matheswaran made his directorial debut with Vasanth Ravi-starrer Rocky. Saani Kaayidham marks his second directorial venture. He was an assistant director to Thiagaraja Kumararaja.
